Doğtaş Kelebek Mobilya: The shining star of the industry

Istanbul Chamber of Industry announces Turkey's top 500 industrial enterprises.

Doğtaş Kelebek Mobilya jumped 61 places in the ranking of companies that increased their turnover the most year-on-year, according to a survey entitled "Turkey's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises 2016" prepared by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry. Incorporating two giant brands of the furniture industry – Doğtaş and Kelebek – the company has increased its sales by 26 percent and ranked 339th in the 2016 ISO 500 List.

One of the leading companies in the Turkish furniture industry, Doğtaş Kelebek Mobilya stands out with its ever-growing, dynamic, and innovative organization. Having gained strength with the executive and organizational changes made last year, the company has grown its sales and continues to expand at a rate way above the industry average. Doğtaş Kelebek is aiming for 50-percent growth in 2017 and to reach 1 billion Turkish lira in sales by year-end 2018. 

Ersin Serbes, CEO of Doğtaş Kelebek Mobilya, which was noticed for having jumped 61 spots in the ISO 500 List, said about this achievement: "We have reorganized with a powerful team with years of experience in the industry, focused on boosting efficiency in the company. We have done a lot in the company since we took office in July. We are taking similar steps for our vendors. Our company operates in line with the dynamics of the retail industry. We will continue to make headlines and set standards in furniture retailing in the coming period with our updated product portfolio, new store concepts developed for both Doğtaş and Kelebek Mobilya, efficient after-sales service, and distinctive innovations. It is a very important development for us to jump 61 places at a time in the ISO 500 List. We have set high targets. We aim to achieve 50-percent growth and turnover of 600 million Turkish lira. We will reach 1 billion Turkish lira in sales by the end of next year. We want to remain the shining star of the Turkish furniture industry."
