Doğtaş supports employment campaign

Doğtaş has upwardly revised its recruitment plan for 215 employees in 2017 to 300 for its manufacturing facilities in Biga and Düzce as well as Istanbul headquarters, in support of the government-initiated employment campaign.

Pointing out that the VAT cut implemented some time before boosted sales and the positive outlook allowed them to reorganize several issues including employment plans, Serbes said that they supported the employment policy initiated by the government and would hire new people accordingly.

The company will create additional jobs with the new stores to be opened, eventually creating 1,000 jobs by the end of the year.

Stating that the company did not shy away from any sacrifice necessary to invigorate the economy, Serbes said: "The furniture industry is a labor-intensive industry.
